Implementation works for the third phase of the duplication of the Qena–Luxor Eastern Desert Road, from New Tiba–Al-Habeel–Al-Baghdadi Bridge, including development and upgrading works over a length of 18 km
Scope of Work
- Excavation works using mechanical equipment for all types of soil.
- Loading and transporting suitable fill soil to achieve the design level for the bridge and shoulders.
- Supply and spreading of a base layer of graded hard stones resulting from crusher outputs.
- Supply and spreading of a binder layer of asphalt concrete.
- Supply and spreading of a surface layer.
- Supply and installation of precast pipe culverts with 1 m internal diameter.
- Supply and construction of a single-face reinforced concrete barrier (New Jersey type), 90 cm high.
- Supply and construction of a double-face reinforced concrete barrier with fiberglass (New Jersey type), 90 cm high.
- Supply and casting of plain concrete, 15 cm thick.
